Founded in 2023 by visionary entrepreneurs Srujan Bharadwaj and Shubham Patel, ECOBRIQT was created with a simple but powerful idea: to turn agricultural and forest waste — once seen as useless byproducts — into a reliable, eco-friendly source of energy for India’s industries.
From the beginning, our focus has been clear — combine sustainability with industrial-grade efficiency. We convert agro residues like maize straw, sawdust, press mud, and corn cobs into premium-quality biomass briquettes using cutting-edge extrusion technology. These briquettes serve as a carbon-neutral replacement for coal, allowing industries to reduce operational costs and carbon footprints while maintaining performance and reliability.
Our Journey
What started as a vision to reduce open burning of agricultural waste has quickly grown into a high-capacity production network. Our manufacturing facility in Gajwel produces over 1,500 tons of briquettes every month, ensuring a steady, year-round supply for clients ranging from power plants and cement manufacturers to food processors and textile mills.
